Flex Learning Returning from Break

On January 11th, PreK-5 will be returning in the continued cohorting model, and grades 6-12 will be returning to the Hybrid Model using the following schedule: A -B- A- B- A
The goal of going to Flex Learning is to allow 10 days after the holiday gatherings to contain the virus spread by providing 10 days to get your circle small. We anticipate many will be widening your circle over the holidays with extended family and friends. Please use the 10 days from January 1st - January 10th to let any virus that you may have been exposed to over the holidays run its course and return to a small circle of exposure. This will set us up to return January 11th with as few quarantines as possible.
Students will take devices and any materials needed home with them on Friday, December 18th. Please look for communication from your child's teacher with schedule and login information for school to resume on January 4th in the Flex Learning model.

Students in grades 6-12 will receive communication from each teacher including assignments and zoom links as required. The morning check in with their first hour teacher will be required for attendance purposes. When we return to Hybrid on January 11th, the schedule will be A-B-A-B-A.
We will be providing meals during this time and will send a link to sign up for those meals in a couple weeks. For more information regarding this transition, please view the video below.
By sharing this information as early as possible, we hope this gives time to plan and prepare for our families and staff. Thank you for your continued support of in person learning and our educators. It takes a village and I am thankful that each of you are a part of mine.
I pray your families have a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday break. It wouldn't be an email without the reminder:
Wash your hands.
Watch your distance.
Wear a facemask.
