So proud of this second grade leader! He helped a kindergartner get back to her classroom after breakfast. I overheard him ask questions about what her teacher looks like to know exactly where to take her.
Lead on, lead up, my guy!! #UVlearn

We are so excited to welcome our students back tomorrow morning!

Good morning!
In the Announcements vid in Seesaw, we discuss DISMISSAL as our procedure of the day.
DISMISSAL is similar to last year in that busses will dismiss from our north parking lot and parent pick-up will be from our south parking lot.
DISMISSAL will be different from last year in that it'll be 10 minutes earlier. We now dismiss at 3:05 PM.
For parent pick-up, please park INSIDE or SOUTH of the first light pole if you are parking and walking up to pick up your child/children.
If you are driving up to pick up in our lanes, please enter the lanes (I'll help you, I'm there daily) OUTSIDE or NORTH of the first light pole.
We have a LOT of kids (biggest elementary in Reno County) with a lot of students being picked up from our south parking lot. It's very important we follow these directions/procedures for dismissal to be efficient.
You all do a GREAT job following our staff out there. Let's keep it up in 2021-2022!
Please comment with any questions :-)
See you soon!
~Dr. Erickson

Good afternoon!
Families, please check out our Announcements videos in Seesaw! I will recognize birthdays, read aloud a book, and cover a school-wide procedure daily.
Today's procedure was Arrival.
The quick version of Arrival is as follows:
Doors will open at 7:30 AM each day. Students may eat breakfast in our cafeteria at 7:30 AM as well.
When arriving to school or when finished with breakfast, students will sit in the hallways outside their classrooms, supervised by a TON of support teachers and aides.
Teachers will welcome students into rooms at 7:55 AM, which is our start time from 2019-2020. We are returning to 7:55 AM after starting 10 minutes earlier last year.
Again, continue to connect with Seesaw for more Announcements and videos :-)
We can't wait to see our students next week!!!
~Dr. Erickson
